Undeterred by this aquatic detour, Moonie pursued his passion for art history at the esteemed Portland Sea Dog State College. Yet, the cosmos beckoned, and his childhood dreams of venturing beyond Earth’s atmosphere never waned. A natural talent for bowling and a melodic touch on the flute showcased Moonie’s diverse abilities.

Fate smiled upon Moonie when he was selected for the astronaut program, a testament to his unwavering determination.
