Engineer Donny “Space” Space is an American astronaut and flight engineer hailing from Evansville, Indiana. A graduate of Indiana State University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering, Space was commissioned into the United States Air Force upon graduation.

During his time in the Air Force, Space served as a test pilot, accumulating thousands of flight hours in a variety of aircraft. His exceptional piloting skills and technical acumen caught the attention of NASA, leading to his selection for the astronaut program.

Following rigorous astronaut training, Space was assigned as a flight engineer on multiple space missions. His expertise in spacecraft systems and flight operations proved invaluable, contributing to the success of several groundbreaking missions.
