Moonie Wagers, a name that echoes through the annals of space exploration, hails from the vibrant city of Nashville, Tennessee. While his initial path seemed destined for the University of Tennessee, an unexpected encounter with a sea otter during a fishing expedition altered his trajectory.
Undeterred by this aquatic detour, Moonie pursued his passion for art history at the esteemed Portland Sea Dog State College. Yet, the cosmos beckoned, and his childhood dreams of venturing beyond Earth’s atmosphere never waned. A natural talent for bowling and a melodic touch on the flute showcased Moonie’s diverse abilities.
Fate smiled upon Moonie when he was selected for the astronaut program, a testament to his unwavering determination. Rising through the ranks, he ultimately achieved the position of 2nd Pilot, a role that fused his love for art, music, and the boundless mysteries of the universe.
